In some parts of the world, a woman's life is a difficult life. Feeling their pain, I was inspired to portray a woman from Eastern Europe in black & white. We can face the injustice in her eyes while her inexpensive but neat clothes speak loudly about her hardworking life.
Acrylic on stretched canvas, 12" x 9", fine finished with isolation coat and varnish.
